Guide to the Element project
***Due Monday, 27 November (1st & 2nd) or Tuesday, 28 November (7th)***

Students will make either a poster of an element or a copy of the entire periodic table showing a periodic trend.

Periodic tables must include basic information (name, symbol, atomic number, atomic weight), but may be drawn or colored or illustrated to show atomic radii, electronegativity, samples of the elements, or some other periodic trend.

Elements should include the name, symbol, atomic number, electron arrangement, atomic weight, physical & chemical properties (boiling/melting/freezing points, electronegativity, state at STP, etc), person who discovered it & when, what the element is commonly used for or found in, why is the element important, how much is it worth, and a sample/picture/drawing of the element (pure or in a compound).

No cut and paste; poster must be handwritten except for a picture of the element. Minimum size is 22" x 29".
